Lake Mastis
The long lake runs along the town's western side and takes up much of the poster. It forms a large, calm shape against the street network.

Telsiai Map Poster & Print
Telšiai is the main town of Samogitia, the historic region of northwestern Lithuania. It lies along the eastern shore of Lake Mastis, and the town's streets rise from the water up a series of hills. From above, the lake is the dominant shape, a long body of water with the town arranged along one side and parkland and paths along the shore.
Telšiai is the seat of the Samogitian diocese, and its cathedral stands on a hill above the lake. The town also held a famous yeshiva before the Second World War, known across the Jewish world. Local tradition says Telšiai, like Rome, is built on seven hills, and the uneven layout of the streets supports the claim.
A Telsiai map poster pairs the smooth outline of the lake with the irregular street pattern of an old hill town. The lakefront amphitheatre and promenade add detail along the shore, while the hills give the streets their curving, sloping character.

Cathedral hill
The cathedral stands on high ground above the water. The streets around it wind uphill, marking the historic core of the diocesan town.
Hillside streets
The streets bend and climb across several hills rather than forming a grid, so the old centre has an irregular, layered look on the map.
