Terrier Rouge Map Poster & Print
Terrier Rouge lies on the plain of northeastern Haiti, between Cap-Haïtien and the Dominican border, a short distance inland from the Atlantic shore. The land is low and open, and the town's map is correspondingly plain: a modest arrangement of streets along the main road, surrounded by fields, dry scrub and tracks leading towards the coast.
The area has seen notable change in recent years, as the Caracol industrial park opened nearby in 2012 and drew workers from across the Nord-Est department. The neighbouring coast, with its shallow bays and mangroves, is among the more ecologically important stretches of the Haitian shoreline.
A Terrier Rouge map poster frames the town simply, with its streets drawn cleanly against the open ground around them. It is a map for those who call the place home or who have spent time there, and it reads well in both light and dark styles.

Coastal plain
Flat farmland and scrub stretch around the town in every direction, rendered on the map as wide open space crossed by a few rural tracks.
Bays to the north
Towards the coast the shoreline breaks into shallow bays and mangrove channels, adding intricate edges wherever the map reaches the water.

For the Haitian diaspora in Miami, Montreal, New York or Paris, a map of the home town is a meaningful thing to have on the wall. It also makes a thoughtful gift for relatives, marking a place that is rarely represented in print.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be written in Haitian Creole, French or English, and there are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. HD files cost $9, and matte prints ship from partners in 30+ countries.
