Dense old core
The centre is a fine mesh of narrow lanes and closely packed buildings. It is the most detailed and darkest part of the map.

Todabhim Map Poster & Print
Todabhim is a town in Karauli district in eastern Rajasthan, in the flat farming country between Jaipur and the Chambal region. The landscape around it is open and cultivated. On the map the town is a tight, dense knot of lanes, with roads running outward to villages and neighbouring towns.
The older core has the close-grained pattern common to Rajasthani market towns: narrow streets, irregular blocks and houses built wall to wall. Newer growth spreads along the main roads, where the streets become more regular and the plots larger. Fields, their boundaries and scattered trees fill the space around the town.
A Todabhim map poster makes the most of the contrast between the dense centre and the open countryside. In Sand or Paper it carries some of the warmth of the region's light. Classic black & white gives the lanes a crisp, almost graphic quality. It is a map for people who call this corner of Rajasthan home.

Radiating roads
Roads leave the town in several directions toward villages and nearby towns. Their long lines across the countryside anchor the composition.
Farmland setting
Level farmland surrounds Todabhim on every side. On the poster it becomes open space that sets the town apart as a clear, compact shape.
