Umm Şalāl Muḩammad Map Poster & Print
Umm Şalāl Muḩammad lies north of Doha in Qatar, in the municipality of Umm Salal. The land is flat and dry, so the map is shaped almost entirely by roads. Large superblocks divided by wide boulevards hold walled residential compounds, and the major northern highway runs nearby, linking the town to the capital and to the north of the peninsula.
The town is best known for the Barzan Towers, a pair of restored watchtowers linked to the early twentieth century, once used to watch over the surrounding land and, by tradition, to observe the moon and the sea. A small historic fort stands nearby, a reminder that this was a settlement long before the modern suburbs spread around it.
On a Umm Şalāl Muḩammad map poster the street pattern becomes a study in spacing: loops of residential lanes inside big rectangles, interchanges drawn as smooth curves, and open ground left blank between districts. It is an honest picture of a modern Gulf town that grew quickly around older landmarks.

Superblock grid
Wide arterial roads divide the town into large blocks, each filled with its own pattern of short lanes and cul-de-sacs serving walled family homes.
Northern highway
A major highway runs along the town, its interchanges drawn as sweeping curves that contrast with the tighter geometry of the neighbourhood streets.

This map suits people who grew up in the area, families who moved here as the suburbs expanded, or anyone who wants a clean, graphic reminder of home in Qatar. The open blocks leave plenty of white space, which reads well at large sizes.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a household name or a moving-in date. Pick one of five styles, from Noir to Sand, and choose a $9 digital download in six sizes or a printed poster shipped from a local print partner.
