Uruguaiana Map Poster & Print
Uruguaiana lies on the eastern bank of the Uruguay River, at Brazil's western edge in Rio Grande do Sul. Across the water is Paso de los Libres in Argentina. From above, the city is a disciplined grid of square blocks running back from the river, with the flat, open land of the Pampa stretching out beyond the last streets. The river's broad curve sets the western boundary.
The two cities are linked by the Getúlio Vargas–Agustín P. Justo International Bridge, which carries both road and rail over the river and is one of the most important land crossings between Brazil and Argentina. That makes Uruguaiana a major customs and freight hub. The surrounding countryside is cattle and rice country, and the town has a strong gaúcho culture tied to it.
A Uruguaiana map poster shows a city that feels almost diagrammatic: the rigid block grid, the long straight line of the bridge, and the river widening between two countries. In black and white, the frontier becomes a clear graphic shape. It makes a strong print for families from the region and for anyone who has crossed here on the way south.

Square-block grid
The city centre is laid out in regular square blocks, a pattern that continues outward almost without interruption until it meets open farmland.
Uruguay River edge
The wide river forms the city's western edge, its bank and islands drawing a soft natural line against the straight streets of the town.
