Vertou Map Poster & Print
Vertou is a commune immediately southeast of Nantes, in the Loire-Atlantique department of the Pays de la Loire. The Sèvre Nantaise, a tributary of the Loire, winds through it, and on the map the river is its most distinctive feature, bending slowly through meadows and wooded banks before joining the Loire at Nantes.
Vertou has grown into a residential suburb, with a historic centre near the river and newer neighbourhoods spreading outward. To the south and east the country opens into the vineyards of the Muscadet area, so the street pattern gradually thins into lanes, hamlets and fields.
A Vertou map poster combines a close suburban texture with the gentle meanders of the Sèvre. The river's curves draw the eye through the print, and the fading of the streets into countryside gives the composition a natural edge.

Historic centre
The old centre sits close to the river, with streets converging near the church and the main square before spreading out into newer neighbourhoods.
Vineyard edges
Toward the south and east, the dense suburban grid gives way to scattered lanes and hamlets among the vineyards of the Muscadet area.
