Villa Bruzual Map Poster & Print
Villa Bruzual is the capital of Turén Municipality in the state of Portuguesa, in the western llanos of Venezuela. The town follows the regular grid common to Venezuelan settlements, with straight streets meeting at right angles around a central plaza. From above, this compact block of streets stands out clearly against the wide, flat agricultural plain that surrounds it on every side.
The Turén area is one of Venezuela's important farming regions, known for crops such as maize, rice and sorghum grown on large, level fields. On the map, these fields form a vast pattern of rectangles divided by rural roads and drainage lines, and rivers flowing down from the Andean foothills cross the plain in long, winding curves.
A Villa Bruzual map poster sets the orderly grid of the town inside that broad agricultural landscape, a composition of strong lines and open space. It is a fitting piece for people from Turén, whether they still live nearby or have moved far away, and it pairs well with other maps of the llanos.
