Viseu Map Poster & Print
Viseu grew around a hilltop where its cathedral and old quarter still stand. From above you can see a knot of narrow medieval streets at the summit, with newer avenues and gardens spreading down the slopes. A series of ring roads circles the city at increasing distances, giving the map a clear set of concentric layers around the historic centre.
The city is the capital of the Dão wine region, and vineyards and pine woods surround it. It is also associated with Vasco Fernandes, the Renaissance painter known as Grão Vasco, whose work is held in the museum beside the cathedral. The small Pavia River winds along the city's northern side.
A Viseu map poster brings out that ring structure. The tight old centre, the looser middle districts and the circular roads around them form a composition that is balanced and easy to read. It feels orderly without being rigid, a provincial city whose shape can be understood in one look.

Concentric ring roads
Circular roads loop around the city at different distances, adding rings that frame the centre and connect the outer neighbourhoods.
Pavia River
The small river curves along the northern side of the city, a soft irregular line beside the more deliberate geometry of the streets.

ඇයි Viseu
අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Viseu is the kind of city people remember fondly: student years, a family home in the Beira, or a summer among the Dão vineyards. The ring-shaped plan gives the poster a satisfying centre, and it looks settled on a wall.
Add your own title, a subtitle and a date, then adjust the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper suits the granite and old-town character well.
