Wittstock Map Poster & Print
Wittstock/Dosse lies in the north-west of Brandenburg. It has one of the most complete medieval town walls in Germany, and on a map that wall is the first thing you notice: a closed oval of brick fortifications around the old town, with narrow streets and a market square inside. The small rivers Dosse and Glinze flow along its edges.
At one corner of the wall stands the Alte Bischofsburg, a former residence of the bishops of Havelberg. Outside town, in 1636, the Battle of Wittstock was fought during the Thirty Years' War, and a museum in the old castle tells its story. Beyond the walls, newer streets and green spaces spread out, but the historic ring remains intact.
A Wittstock map poster is shaped by that enclosed core: a clear boundary with the town packed inside, and rivers and open land outside. It reads almost like a plan of a medieval town from a history book, but it shows the town as it is today.

Bishop's castle
The Alte Bischofsburg sits at the edge of the walled town. Its compact grounds form a distinct block on the poster, next to the fortifications.
Dosse and Glinze
Two small rivers wind past the old town and meet nearby. Their soft curves contrast with the firm line of the wall.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
History enthusiasts, former residents and anyone who enjoys a clearly shaped old town will appreciate Wittstock. The enclosed walls create an image that is immediately readable on a wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can be personalised, for example with 1636 or a family date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper suits the medieval plan well.
