Woburn Map Poster & Print
Seen from above, Woburn is defined as much by its highways as by its streets. Interstate 93 runs along one side of the city and Interstate 95, the Route 128 beltway around Boston, crosses the other, and their interchanges form large looping shapes that frame the residential neighbourhoods. Between them, a traditional New England centre gathers around a common, with streets radiating outward in irregular lines.
Woburn has a long industrial past, particularly in leather tanning, and it is the birthplace of Benjamin Thompson, the scientist later known as Count Rumford. The city's public library, designed by Henry Hobson Richardson, is considered one of the architect's finest works and remains a landmark near the centre.
A Woburn map poster gives Horn Pond a central role: a large glacial pond on the western side of the city, surrounded by walking paths and wooded slopes. Its irregular outline breaks up the grid of suburban streets and cul-de-sacs, while the office parks and commercial strips near the highways add wide, open blocks that contrast with the finer residential pattern.

Interstate interchanges
The meeting of I-93 and I-95 creates broad cloverleaf curves at the edges of the city, a strong graphic contrast to the small residential streets.
Historic centre
Woburn's older core around the common shows the irregular, radiating street pattern typical of colonial New England towns, distinct from later suburban layouts.

අර්ථයක් ඇති සිතියමක්
Woburn makes sense on the wall of anyone who commutes along Route 128, walks the Horn Pond loop, or grew up in one of its neighbourhoods. The mix of highway curves, pond and old centre gives the map a surprisingly balanced composition.
