Yadgir Map Poster & Print
Yadgir is the headquarters of Yadgir district in the Kalyana-Karnataka region of northern Karnataka, a district created in 2010. The town sits in open, largely agricultural country on the Deccan plateau, and the Bhima River passes close by. On the map, the settled area gathers around a rocky hill crowned by an old fort, with streets packed tightly at its foot.
The older part of town is a dense mesh of lanes and markets, while newer neighbourhoods extend along the main roads and toward the railway, which carries trains on the route between Mumbai and Chennai. Beyond the edges, the pattern opens up into fields, tanks and scattered rock outcrops that are typical of the Deccan landscape.
A Yadgir map poster frames the relationship between the fort hill, the old town and the river country around it. In black and white the hill becomes a quiet void at the centre of dense streets, and the road network reads clearly. It is a fitting keepsake for people from Yadgir and for anyone with roots in the region.

Bhima River
The river runs through the countryside close to town, adding a broad, meandering line that contrasts with the straight roads and the rail line.
Railway and main roads
The railway and the main roads leaving town form the longest, straightest features on the map, guiding newer growth outward from the old centre.
