Yengitam Map Poster & Print
Yengitam lies in the Ili region of northwestern Xinjiang, a wide valley with high ranges on both sides. From above, the landscape is an orderly patchwork. Irrigation channels, tree-lined field boundaries and straight rural roads divide the flat valley floor into long rectangles, and the settlement's streets fit into that geometry.
The built-up area is compact, with around twenty-five thousand people, and houses gathered along a few main roads. Around it, cultivated land stretches away in regular strips. Water shapes this landscape: the valley depends on rivers that come down from the surrounding mountains, and the canals that carry this water appear on the map as thin, precise lines.
A Yengitam map poster shows this agricultural order in monochrome. Village lanes, field edges and canals together form a tidy, almost textile-like pattern. It is a quiet image of a place far from the coast, where rural planning and the geography of the valley meet.

Irrigation lines
Narrow canals and ditches thread between the fields, drawing fine parallel lines that give the surrounding countryside its distinctive, combed texture.
Tree-lined roads
Rows of trees along roads and field edges trace the grid across the valley, marking the boundaries between farm plots on the map.
