Zhudong Map Poster & Print
Zhudong sits in eastern Hsinchu County where the flat coastal plain begins to rise toward the central mountains. On the map, the town fills a stretch of land on the south bank of the Touqian River, with a dense core of shophouse streets and newer housing reaching out along the roads that head into the hills.
The town grew as a trading point for timber and camphor brought down from the mountains, and it remains one of Taiwan's centres of Hakka culture. The Neiwan branch railway runs through Zhudong on its way up the valley, a slim line that heads toward the hills from the coast and marks the transition between plain and upland.
A Zhudong map poster shows a town caught between two landscapes. To the west, the grid thickens toward Hsinchu and its science park; to the east, streets thin out into terraced slopes and small valleys. The river bends past the northern edge, its wide gravel bed and levees drawn as a pale band on the print.

Neiwan branch line
A single-track railway passes through Zhudong toward the mountains, a thin but recognisable line that has linked the valley towns with Hsinchu for decades.
Edge of the hills
The eastern districts climb gently into forested foothills, where the regular streets give way to winding roads and scattered settlements that follow the terrain.
