Village centres
Acton Center, South Acton and West Acton form separate small nodes on the map. The roads between them tell the story of how the town grew from its farming villages.

Acton Map Poster & Print
Acton, Massachusetts, lies in Middlesex County about twenty-five miles northwest of Boston. It does not have one single downtown. The map shows several village centres instead, including Acton Center, South Acton and West Acton, linked by curving roads that follow old farm routes. Between them is a mix of woodland, conservation land and residential streets.
The town is proud of its role in the events of 19 April 1775. The Acton Minutemen, led by Captain Isaac Davis, marched to the North Bridge in Concord, and the Isaac Davis monument now stands on the town common. On the map, Nashoba Brook and Fort Pond Brook wind between the neighbourhoods, and the Fitchburg commuter line crosses the south of town.
An Acton map poster shows a place that grew slowly and with the land. There are no hard grids here, only looping roads, cul-de-sacs, ponds and brooks. The result is an organic, detailed composition that feels unmistakably New England.

Brooks and ponds
Nashoba Brook, Fort Pond Brook and several ponds wind through the town. They add soft, irregular lines that contrast with the roads.
Commuter rail line
The Fitchburg Line runs through South Acton, where a station links the town to Boston. It is one of the few straight lines on an otherwise curving map.
