Hillside streets
Streets follow the contours of the elevated site, curving and climbing rather than forming a grid. This gives the map an organic, sloping character.

Água Branca Map Poster & Print
Água Branca lies in the far west of Alagoas, in the semi-arid sertão of northeastern Brazil, not far from the São Francisco River valley. Unlike many towns in the region, it sits on elevated ground, and its streets follow the slope of the hill, giving the urban area an irregular, climbing shape.
The town is one of the older settlements in the Alagoas backcountry and keeps a historic centre with colonial-era buildings and a main church at its heart. Around it, the countryside opens out into dry scrubland, small farms and rural roads leading toward neighbouring municipalities.
An Água Branca map poster shows a compact town shaped by its hill. The central streets gather tightly around the older core, and the outer lanes bend with the terrain. The wide open space of the sertão fills the rest of the frame, emphasising how small and self-contained the town is.
