Irrigation canals
Canals run straight across the flat land, with smaller channels branching from them. Roads often run alongside, and together they form the main structure of the map.

Al Ibrāhīmīyah Map Poster & Print
Al Ibrāhīmīyah lies in Sharqia governorate, in the eastern part of the Nile Delta. Like most delta towns, it sits on flat, intensively farmed land crossed by irrigation canals. The map shows a compact centre of close-set streets and blocks, with roads and canals leaving it in several directions toward neighbouring towns and villages.
The delta has been farmed for thousands of years, and its landscape is almost entirely man-made. Fields are divided into long narrow strips, channels branch off larger canals, and villages sit at regular intervals along the waterways. Around the town, this pattern fills the frame with fine, parallel lines.
An Al Ibrāhīmīyah map poster shows a dense urban knot set within this carefully managed countryside. The contrast between the tight town streets and the ruled geometry of the fields is simple and strong. It is a map for people from Sharqia, whether they still live there or now live in Cairo or abroad.

Compact town core
The built-up centre is a dense cluster of narrow streets and small blocks, clearly distinct from the open fields that surround it.
Strip fields
Farmland is divided into long, narrow plots that create fine parallel lines, a pattern typical of the Nile Delta and very striking in monochrome.
