Aljaraque Map Poster & Print
Aljaraque lies in the province of Huelva, in the southwest corner of Andalusia, just across the Odiel estuary from the city of Huelva. The municipality is made up of several separate population centres rather than a single town, including Aljaraque itself, Corrales and Bellavista. The map therefore shows separate clusters of streets, linked by roads across a flat, low landscape.
Its most striking neighbour is the Marismas del Odiel, a protected wetland of tidal channels, mudflats and salt pans. It is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and an important site for birds such as spoonbills and flamingos. To the south the land reaches toward the Atlantic coast near Punta Umbría, and pine woodland covers much of the sandy ground in between.
An Aljaraque map poster is about the relationship between settlement and water. The built areas sit on firm ground, while the marsh spreads beside them in a web of branching channels that looks almost like a drawing of veins or roots. Rendered in black and white, this makes an unusually delicate print, suited to anyone who knows the Huelva coast.

Separate villages
Aljaraque, Corrales and Bellavista appear as distinct clusters of streets, each with its own compact centre. Roads across open ground connect them.
View of Huelva
The city of Huelva and its port lie across the estuary, linked by road bridges over the Odiel. The poster shows Aljaraque within this wider coastal setting.
