Alvand Map Poster & Print
Alvand is in Qazvin Province in northern Iran, close to the city of Qazvin, on the broad plain that runs south of the Alborz range. Seen from above, the terrain is flat and open, and the town is arranged in a regular pattern of blocks and wide roads that is typical of the newer urban areas in the region.
Farmland and industrial plots sit around the edges of the settlement, and major routes across the plain link it to Qazvin and to the corridor towards Tehran. The mountains to the north are not part of the street plan, but they set its direction: the land rises gently towards them, and roads and channels follow the slope.
An Alvand map poster suits anyone who likes order on a page. The streets make a tidy geometry, and the fields and open ground around them give the composition breathing room. In a single-colour print, a place like this reads almost as an architectural drawing.

Plain and fields
Open farmland and plots surround the built-up area, creating a clear boundary between the dense street network and the wide spaces of the Qazvin plain.
Regional routes
Main roads cross the plain towards Qazvin and beyond, drawing long straight lines that tie the town to the larger network of northern Iran.

Zakaj Alvand
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
A map of Alvand is a personal object for people from the town or for those who have moved away from it. It records the streets of a place that rarely appears in atlases, in a form that is precise and understated.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with the name in Persian script or a family date, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Order it as a $9 digital file or as a printed poster.
