The town stretches along high ground instead of spreading across a plain. On the poster its outline follows the shape of the ridges.

Amargaḍhi̇̄ Map Poster & Print
Amargaḍhi̇̄ is the administrative centre of Dadeldhura District, in Sudurpashchim Province in far-western Nepal. It sits in the hills between the southern plains and the higher mountains to the north. From above, the town follows the shape of the terrain. The streets sit along ridges and saddles, and the roads bend repeatedly as they climb and descend.
As a district headquarters, the town has the government offices, schools and markets that serve the surrounding hill villages. The main road through the area links it to towns farther south and north, and on the map it appears as a long, winding line. Terraced slopes and forest fill the land around the built-up area.
An Amargaḍhi̇̄ map poster shows a mountain town defined by its landscape. The streets form a narrow, irregular band, and the switchbacking roads draw some of the most striking lines on the sheet. With the valleys and slopes left open, the composition feels high, airy and quite unlike a lowland grid.

Winding hill road
The main road curves back and forth through the hills. Its repeated bends form one of the most expressive lines on the map.
Surrounding slopes
Terraced hillsides and forest fall away on every side. Printed as open space, they make the small settled area look like an island in the hills.
