Central grid
The core is a regular pattern of square blocks around the main plaza and church, the kind of plan that reads as a crisp, even texture when printed in black and white.

Ameca Map Poster & Print
Ameca lies west of Guadalajara in Jalisco, in a broad valley that shares its name with the town and the river running past it. The street plan follows a pattern common to Mexican towns of colonial origin: a central square with a parish church, and a regular grid of blocks extending outward until it meets fields on one side and the riverbank on the other.
The Ameca River rises in the highlands of Jalisco and travels west to the Pacific, where its lower course marks part of the border between Jalisco and Nayarit before it reaches the Bay of Banderas. Near the town it is still a modest channel, but on a map its meandering line gives the tidy grid a natural counterweight along one edge.
The valley around Ameca is farmland, much of it planted with sugarcane, and hills rise where the flat ground ends. An Ameca map poster shows that balance well: a dense, orderly centre, the soft curve of the river, and roads leaving in several directions toward neighbouring towns, all set within a landscape that has been worked for centuries.

Ameca River
The river loops along the side of the town on its long route to the Pacific, a single curving line that softens the geometry of the surrounding streets.
Valley roads
Highways and rural roads fan out from the town across the valley floor, linking it with Guadalajara to the east and with smaller farming communities nearby.

Zakaj Ameca
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
An Ameca map suits anyone with roots in this corner of Jalisco, a family home near the plaza or a memory of the valley. The contrast between the neat grid and the winding river gives it a calm, balanced look on a wall.
The title, subtitle and coordinates line can all be personalised, so the poster can carry a name, a family surname or a date. Choose from five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, to match the room it will hang in.
