Two rivers meet beside the town, and their converging channels frame the old quarter. They are the most striking feature on the map.

Anju Map Poster & Print
Anju is in Tongliang District in the west of Chongqing and is known above all as an ancient town. Its old quarter stands where the Qiong River meets the Fu River, and from above the confluence gives the place its shape. Two waterways converge, and the historic streets gather on the land between and beside them.
The old town is a close-grained network of lanes, steps and small squares, and newer districts spread along the roads and riverbanks nearby. The surrounding countryside is hilly, with farmland and scattered settlements. The map moves from a dense centre by the water to a loose rural texture at the edges.
An Anju map poster captures both the river junction and the contrast between old and new streets. In monochrome the rivers become clear, flowing bands. The historic core appears as a detailed cluster beside the water, a composition that rewards a closer look.

Ancient town lanes
The historic centre is a tight web of narrow lanes and stepped alleys. Its grain is much finer than that of the newer streets around it.
Hilly countryside
Beyond the town, low hills and farmland are crossed by winding rural roads. They give the edges of the poster a soft, organic texture.
