A river mouth beside the settlement forms a sheltered anchorage for fishing boats, its curving banks giving the map a strong, organic shape.

Ấp Phước Tĩnh Map Poster & Print
Ấp Phước Tĩnh lies on Vietnam's south-east coast near the beach town of Long Hải, in the area long administered as Bà Rịa–Vũng Tàu province. On a map the settlement is pressed between sandy shore and low-lying ground, with a dense tangle of lanes running close to the water and an estuary beside it that shelters the local boats.
Phước Tĩnh is known above all as a fishing community, one of the more substantial ones along this stretch of coast. The fleet moored in the river mouth is usually the first thing visitors notice, and daily life follows the rhythm of boats heading out to sea and returning with the catch, with much of the work taking place along the waterfront.
This Ấp Phước Tĩnh map poster records a place defined by its edges: the smooth line of the coast, the curving shape of the estuary, and the fine grain of houses packed along narrow lanes, with open sea filling part of the frame. It is a portrait of a working shoreline rather than a resort.

The coastline
The shoreline runs past the settlement in a long, gentle line, with sand and open water to one side and closely packed housing to the other.
Narrow lanes
Inland from the water, small lanes and alleys crowd together, forming a fine, irregular texture typical of coastal villages in southern Vietnam.
