‘Ara-‘Ar‘ara Map Poster & Print
‘Ara-‘Ar‘ara is a local council in the Haifa District of northern Israel, formed by joining the neighbouring Arab towns of ‘Ara and ‘Ar‘ara. It lies in Wadi Ara, the valley that links the coastal plain with the Jezreel Valley and has served as a route between them since antiquity.
The valley shapes the map. Highway 65 runs along the valley floor as a long, gently curving line, and the town extends up the hillsides on both sides of it. Streets follow the slopes in winding curves and switchbacks, and houses spread in irregular clusters rather than in a grid, with olive groves and open hillside filling the spaces between.
An ‘Ara-‘Ar‘ara map poster captures this landscape of valley and slope. The highway forms a clear line through the middle, while the residential streets curl outward and upward like branches. It is an organic, flowing composition, and it holds personal meaning for anyone who grew up in the valley or has family roots in these hills.

Hillside streets
Residential roads climb the slopes in winding curves, forming an irregular, branching pattern shaped by the terrain rather than by a grid.
Olive groves and slopes
Between neighbourhoods, open hillsides and groves leave quiet white spaces, giving the dense street clusters room to breathe on the print.
