Atwater Map Poster & Print
Atwater sits in Merced County, in the flat heart of California's Central Valley. Its streets follow the tidy grid typical of valley towns, set out along the railway and the main highway, with rectangular blocks spreading in each direction until they meet the orchards and field plots that surround the town.
North of the town lies the site of the former Castle Air Force Base, which closed in the mid-1990s. Its long runway remains a striking straight line on the map, and the Castle Air Museum now displays historic aircraft there. Farming, from almonds to dairy, shapes the landscape all around.
An Atwater map poster makes the most of this geometry. The grid, the diagonal of the railway and highway, and the massive runway form clean lines against the regular pattern of farmland. In black and white, the town reads almost like a technical drawing of valley life.

Valley street grid
Residential blocks follow a regular rectangular pattern, occasionally broken by curving newer subdivisions on the town's edges.
Orchard patchwork
Surrounding farmland appears as a precise grid of fields and orchard rows, extending the town's geometry outward across the flat valley floor.

Zakaj Atwater
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Atwater is a place people connect with through family, work on the farms, or service at the old base. A map poster brings those memories into a clear, graphic image that fits a living room, office or den.
Personalise the title and subtitle, perhaps with a squadron, a family name or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from five styles; Blueprint suits the runway and grid particularly well. Files include six sizes, from 30×40 cm to 24×36″.
