San Gabriel River
A long, straight concrete channel with trails along its levees forms the western edge, a single strong stroke that frames the neighbourhood on the poster.

Avocado Heights Map Poster & Print
Avocado Heights is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County, and its map carries a slightly rural rhythm within the valley. Lots are larger than in the neighbouring suburbs, streets bend and dead-end rather than march in a strict grid, and the San Gabriel River runs along its western side in a long engineered channel that the street pattern has to respect.
The name recalls the avocado groves that once covered this part of the valley. Today the area is known for its equestrian character, with zoning that allows residents to keep horses and trails following the river corridor. That history shows up on paper as generous parcels, irregular lanes and quieter blocks set between busier regional roads and freeway corridors.
An Avocado Heights map poster captures a place that sits outside city limits yet is surrounded by them on almost every side. In black and white the contrast becomes clear: the precise, dense grids of neighbouring towns against a looser pattern of lanes, the river channel sweeping past, and the Puente Hills rising beyond.

Horse-keeping lots
Larger residential parcels, many zoned for horses, loosen the street pattern. Lanes curve, end in cul-de-sacs and leave more space between lines than typical Los Angeles suburbs.
Freeway corridors
Regional freeways and arterial roads pass nearby, drawing heavier lines that contrast with the quieter internal streets and show how the community fits into the wider valley.

Zakaj Avocado Heights
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
People who grew up riding along the river trail, or living on a street where horses are part of daily life, often want a record of that setting. A map poster keeps the shape of home in view without relying on a single photograph.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, or add a family name or move-in date. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand has a warm tone that suits the dry light of the valley.
