Ax 3 Domaines Map Poster & Print
Ax 3 Domaines lies in the Ariège department in the eastern Pyrenees, on the mountainside above the spa town of Ax-les-Thermes. From above, the town fills a narrow junction of valleys, while the ski area spreads out high above it across a plateau and the slopes behind. A long gondola links the two, drawing a straight line from the valley floor up the mountain.
The Plateau de Bonascre, at the heart of the ski area, has hosted stage finishes of the Tour de France. On the map the road to it winds up the mountainside in a series of hairpins, a very different line from the direct route of the gondola.
An Ax 3 Domaines map poster shows the relationship between a thermal town and its mountain, with the town tight in the valley and the ski terrain open above. The winding road, the gondola line and the surrounding ridges give the print a clear vertical structure. It is a good choice for skiers, cyclists and visitors to the thermal baths alike.

Zakaj Ax 3 Domaines
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For people in Toulouse and across the Ariège this is a nearby mountain, one to combine with a soak in the thermal baths. A print of the town and the slopes above keeps both halves of that day together.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a date or a Tour stage, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir brings out the contrast between the dense town and the open slopes.
