Corridor to the coast
The transport lines heading south toward Abidjan run straight through the district and give the composition a clear direction, tying the small town to the country's largest city.

Azaguié Map Poster & Print
Azaguié lies in the Lagunes District of Ivory Coast, a short distance north of Abidjan. From above it reads as a compact settlement set in heavily planted land, with roads leaving the centre in several directions and tracks spreading out between fields. On a monochrome map the town is a small cluster of streets. The countryside around it is a thin web of lines that thins out toward the edges.
The area is agricultural, and the plantations and farm plots around the town shape much of what the map shows. Rail and road link Azaguié to the coast, so the long transport lines through the district become the strongest strokes on the page. The streets in town are short and irregular, with blocks that follow the ground rather than a planned grid.
An Azaguié map poster works well because the place is quiet on paper. A small street core, the corridors running past it and the open country around them give the print a calm balance. The black and white treatment keeps it simple, as a record of a specific point in southern Ivory Coast rather than a busy city plan.

Compact town core
The streets of Azaguié gather into a small, irregular cluster. Seen from above they form a dense knot surrounded by far lighter, open ground.
Farmland tracks
Thin roads and paths run out between the plantations. On the poster they become a delicate network that fades toward the margins.
