Bandar Tasik Puteri Map Poster & Print
Bandar Tasik Puteri is a residential township near Rawang in the Gombak district of Selangor, north of Kuala Lumpur. Tasik means lake, and on a map water is the defining feature: several large ponds sit within and around the estates, many linked to the tin mining that once shaped the Rawang area, giving the layout irregular, flowing shapes.
The township was developed over recent decades as Kuala Lumpur's suburbs pushed northward along the highways and rail line towards Rawang. Its streets are made up largely of terraced and semi-detached housing, arranged in neighbourhood blocks with local shops, schools and places of worship, with open green land still visible at its edges.
A Bandar Tasik Puteri map poster brings out the interplay of water and housing. Straight rows of homes run up to the edges of the lakes, then give way to smooth blank shapes, so the map feels balanced between built and open space. In monochrome, those lakes become the strongest forms on the sheet.
