Roadside settlement
Houses and compounds line the main routes, so the shape of the village follows the roads rather than spreading out in a compact block.

Bangolo Tahouake Map Poster & Print
Bangolo Tahouake lies in the Guémon area of the Montagnes district in western Ivory Coast, not far from the town of Bangolo. This is a green, humid region where tropical forest has been largely replaced by plantations and smallholdings, and the terrain begins to rise toward the uplands that give the district its name.
From above, the settlement appears as a cluster of streets and compounds strung along the routes that pass through it, surrounded by the irregular patchwork of cocoa, coffee and food crop plots typical of western Ivory Coast. Streams and low ridges guide the direction of roads, and wooded land fills the space between villages.
A Bangolo Tahouake map poster offers a quiet, faithful picture of a rural place: a modest core, the lines that link it with neighbouring villages and towns, and the open land around it. The minimalist style suits such a place well, letting the pattern of roads and watercourses carry the whole design.

Plantation landscape
The surrounding land is divided into small farms and plantations, which leaves the map open and uncluttered around the built-up area.
Streams and ridges
Small watercourses and gentle rises in the ground guide the direction of tracks, adding irregular curves to the network of paths.
