Highway 217 diagonal
The freeway slices northeast to southwest across the street grid, one of the few strong diagonals on the map and a clear divider between the older centre and the southern neighbourhoods.

Beaverton Map Poster & Print
Beaverton sits in the Tualatin Valley just over the West Hills from Portland, and on a map it looks like typical Pacific Northwest suburbia. Arterial roads run on a loose grid, with curving cul-de-sac neighbourhoods filling the spaces between them. Highway 217 cuts diagonally across the city, and the Sunset Highway runs along its northern side toward the coast range.
Water shapes more of the plan than you might expect. Beaverton Creek and its tributaries wind through the city in narrow green corridors, and the Tualatin Hills park district keeps many of those strips as trails, wetlands and playing fields. From above, these threads break up the housing tracts and show where the valley floor drains west toward the Tualatin River.
A Beaverton map poster shows a city built around connections. The MAX light rail line runs through the old downtown on its way between Portland and Hillsboro, and Nike's world headquarters campus sits on the western edge. The ring of wooded campuses, transit stops and creek-side greenways gives the print more structure than the word suburb suggests.

Creek greenways
Beaverton Creek and smaller streams wander through the suburbs as irregular bands of parkland, softening the regular blocks with curving lines of trees, ponds and trails.
MAX line
The light rail track runs east to west through downtown Beaverton, linking the city to Portland through a tunnel under the West Hills and to Hillsboro further out in the valley.

Zakaj Beaverton
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For people who grew up on these cul-de-sacs, commuted on the MAX or worked on one of the corporate campuses, the map brings back ordinary daily routes. The creek corridors and the long diagonal of Highway 217 give a suburban plan a surprisingly graphic shape.
You can set your own title, add a subtitle or a meaningful date, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, then download the HD files for $9 or order a matte print, framed if you like.
