Beckenham Map Poster & Print
Beckenham lies in the London Borough of Bromley, in the south-east of Greater London. Its map is a classic suburban pattern: winding residential roads, crescents and cul-de-sacs laid out around a high street, with several railway lines crossing the area and meeting at junctions. Large green spaces break up the housing, and small streams run through them.
Two parks stand out on the map. Kelsey Park, near the town centre, holds a lake among its trees, and Beckenham Place Park to the north is one of the larger green spaces in south London, now known for its swimming lake. The tram network ends at Beckenham Junction, linking the suburb to Croydon.
Beckenham also has a place in music history. In the late 1960s David Bowie lived locally and helped run an arts lab at the Three Tuns pub on the high street. A Beckenham map poster shows the stations, parks and roads of that era, many of them still unchanged in outline.

Railway junctions
Several lines cross the suburb and meet at Beckenham Junction, where the tram also terminates, forming strong diagonal lines through the map.
Kelsey Park lake
Close to the high street, this park and its lake add a small patch of water and curving paths to the dense suburban road pattern.
