Old town ring
Roads that follow the course of the former town wall enclose the historic centre in an almost continuous loop. This classic Westphalian shape anchors the whole composition.

Beckum Map Poster & Print
Beckum lies in the district of Warendorf in North Rhine-Westphalia, on the southern edge of the Münsterland plain. Its old centre is a compact oval of streets that once sat inside a town wall. On a map that shape is still easy to read, with a ring of roads tracing the former line of the fortifications.
Outside the core, the town has spread into residential quarters and industrial areas, and the surrounding land tells its own story. Beckum has long been a centre of the cement industry, and large limestone and marl quarries sit around the town. On the map they appear as wide open basins with terraced edges, unlike the fields and woods nearby.
Nearby rise the Beckumer Berge, a low range of hills that interrupts the flat Westphalian landscape. A Beckum map poster sets the orderly medieval core against the raw geometry of the quarries and the gentle relief around them. The combination works especially well in the stricter styles such as Blueprint.

Quarry basins
Limestone and marl quarries tied to the local cement industry appear as broad open areas with sharp outlines. They are among the most unusual forms on any German town map.
Beckumer Berge
A modest range of hills near the town breaks up the flat Münsterland plain and adds wooded slopes and winding lanes to the edge of the map.

Zakaj Beckum
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Beckum is a place of short distances, where the market square, the ring and the fields are all close at hand. People who grew up there or settled in the Münsterland often want something that shows the whole town rather than a single building, and a map does exactly that.
Adjust the title, subtitle and coordinates line for a wedding date or a street, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Print partners in more than 30 countries ship posters on matte paper, or you can print the $9 HD files yourself.
