South Park
The county park on the southern edge shows up as a wide open area threaded with curving drives, a calm counterweight to the denser residential streets around it.

Bethel Park Map Poster & Print
Bethel Park lies in the South Hills of Allegheny County, a short distance south of Pittsburgh. The terrain is hilly, and the street map reflects it. Roads bend around slopes and follow ridgelines, and residential loops and cul-de-sacs branch off longer collector roads. It is a very different pattern from the flat grids of the Midwest, and it gives the map an organic, hand-drawn look.
Along the southern side, South Park, one of Allegheny County's large public parks, adds a broad area of open space with its own curving drives. The Montour Trail, a long rail-trail built on a former railroad line, passes through the municipality, and Pittsburgh's light rail line reaches into the area, linking it with downtown.
Much of Bethel Park grew as a postwar suburb, which explains the mix of older through-roads and later subdivisions laid over the hills. A Bethel Park map poster captures that layering: long spine roads, looping neighbourhood streets and the quieter, emptier shapes of park and trail running between them.

Montour Trail
This rail-trail follows an old railroad route through the municipality, and its long, gentle curve stands out from the tighter bends of the surrounding suburban roads.
Hillside subdivisions
Loops, crescents and dead-end courts follow the contours of the South Hills, creating the fine, branching texture that makes the map look almost botanical.
