Bexbach Map Poster & Print
Bexbach lies in the Saarpfalz district in the east of Saarland, close to Homburg and the border with Rhineland-Palatinate. The town brings together several formerly separate villages. From above it appears as a series of built-up areas strung along valleys and joined by roads, with forest and farmland filling the spaces between.
Coal mining shaped much of the area's development. The town keeps its industrial past alive in a mining museum inside the Hindenburgturm, a tower in the Blumengarten, Bexbach's landscaped flower park. On the map the park is a distinct green shape whose paths draw a finer pattern than the streets around it.
A Bexbach map poster shows a town organised not around a single historic core but around a network of districts, hills and wooded slopes. The result is a composition with plenty of open space. Streets follow the terrain, and the gaps between districts are as expressive as the districts themselves.

Linked districts
Several former villages make up Bexbach. On the map they appear as separate clusters of streets connected by roads through the countryside.
Wooded slopes
Forest covers much of the higher ground around the town. It leaves wide open areas that frame the built-up valleys and give the poster a calm rhythm.
