Bianouan is a town in the Comoé District of southeastern Côte d'Ivoire, in the Sud-Comoé region not far from the border with Ghana. This is a humid, forested part of West Africa, and on a map the town appears as a compact cluster of streets set within dense green cover, with a handful of roads leading out toward neighbouring towns and villages.
Agriculture shapes the surrounding land, with cocoa, rubber and oil palm among the crops commonly grown across this part of the country.
