Bodrī Map Poster & Print
Bodrī is a town in the Bilaspur area of Chhattisgarh, in central India. The land here belongs to the broad plain of the upper Mahanadi basin, a region known for rice cultivation, and from above the countryside is divided into a patchwork of paddy fields, small tanks and village clusters.
The town itself is a compact area of streets and lanes, with its densest part around the older centre and newer neighbourhoods spreading along the roads. Railway infrastructure is an important presence in this part of Chhattisgarh, and the lines and roads connecting the town to Bilaspur and beyond give the map a clear sense of direction.
A Bodrī map poster frames the town within its agricultural surroundings. The fine mesh of lanes stands out against the lighter texture of fields, and the main routes cut across the frame as strong lines. It is a simple, honest record of a working town on the plains of central India.
