Bosten Lake shore
The western shore of Bosten Lake is not a clean line but a maze of reeds, inlets and shallow pools. On the poster it reads as a finely broken edge against open water.

Bohu Map Poster & Print
Bohu, also known as Bagrash County, is in the Bayingolin area of Xinjiang, on the western edge of Bosten Lake, the region's largest freshwater lake. The county takes its name from the lake. On a map the town is a tidy grid of wide roads set among rectangular fields, and to the east the land dissolves into reed beds and open water.
The lake dominates any view of the area. Its shoreline is ragged and marshy rather than crisp, broken into channels, small lagoons and reed islands, and the Kaidu River feeds it from the west. Beyond the farmed oasis, dry country and the foothills of the Tian Shan frame the basin, so the settled land looks like a green island between desert and water.
A Bohu map poster works because of that contrast. The street grid is compact and regular, almost like a diagram, while the lake edge is irregular and full of texture. In black and white the two sit side by side as order and wildness. It makes a striking print for anyone connected to the town, the lake or journeys through southern Xinjiang.

Kaidu River inflow
The Kaidu River winds across the plain toward the lake and splits into channels as it nears the shore. Its meandering course contrasts with the straight roads of the town.
Oasis grid
Bohu's streets form a regular pattern of long blocks, surrounded by rectangular irrigated fields. The geometry makes the settled land stand out sharply from the marsh and dry country around it.

Zakaj Bohu
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
A map of Bohu suits someone who knows the lake: someone who grew up by it, worked in the county or travelled the road between Korla and Turpan. The print is spare and graphic, and the lake gives it a natural focal point that looks good on any wall.
Personalise the title, add a subtitle with a date or name, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Then pick Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free 900 px preview lets you check the layout before you buy the $9 HD files or order a framed print.
