The stadium oval
The soccer stadium and its parking lots form a large, clean shape that breaks up the residential grid and gives the poster a clear focal point.

Bridgeview Map Poster & Print
Bridgeview follows the Chicago area's usual logic: square-mile sections split by straight arterial roads, with residential blocks filling the spaces in between. From above it reads as a dense, orderly grid, broken by industrial parcels, rail corridors and the large open footprints of commercial sites. Harlem Avenue runs down its eastern side as a steady north–south line.
The village is best known for its soccer stadium, the ground known as Toyota Park, and today SeatGeek Stadium, which was built as the home of the Chicago Fire and has also hosted the women's professional game. Bridgeview also has one of the largest Arab-American communities in the Chicago region, and its mosques and shops are an important part of daily life.
A Bridgeview map poster shows how precise a Midwestern suburban grid can look when it is reduced to lines. The stadium makes a clean oval near the edge of the frame, and the parallel blocks make a satisfying rhythm around it. Seen in black and white, it looks surprisingly architectural.

Section-line arterials
Wide, straight roads a mile apart divide the village into even squares, the survey pattern that runs across Chicago's southwest suburbs.
Rail and industry
Rail lines cut diagonally through the grid past industrial yards. On the map they read as long, sweeping strokes against the regular blocks.
