Town centre
The main streets gather in a compact cluster where local government, markets and the church are usually found. On the poster this is the densest area of line work.

Burgos Map Poster & Print
Burgos is a municipality in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines, the broad plain that is the country's most important rice-growing area. The land is flat and largely agricultural. From above, the town centre appears as a small cluster of streets, and roads extend outward to barangays scattered among irrigated fields, canals and tree-lined farm boundaries.
Several Philippine municipalities share the name Burgos, most of them named in honour of Father José Burgos, a nineteenth-century priest executed in 1872 and remembered as an important figure of the Philippine reform movement. As in many towns of the region, daily life here follows the planting and harvest cycle of the surrounding fields.
A Burgos map poster shows a town defined by its roads and its farmland. The centre forms a modest, dense knot, while provincial and barangay roads run out in long lines through empty space. The minimal style suits the open lowland landscape, and it keeps the image honest to how the place actually looks from above.

Barangay roads
Roads spread from the centre to outlying barangays, often lined with houses along their length. They form thin, branching lines across the map.
Lowland farmland
Much of the municipality is open, flat agricultural land. With few features to draw, these areas become quiet space that sets off the roads and settlements.
