Canidelo Map Poster & Print
Canidelo is a parish of Vila Nova de Gaia, across the Douro from Porto, where the river meets the Atlantic. Its most distinctive feature is the Cabedelo, a sandspit that curves across part of the river mouth. The spit and the waters around it are protected as a local nature reserve, used by birds and walkers.
On the map, water surrounds Canidelo on two sides. The Douro estuary lies to the north, and the Atlantic coastline to the west is lined with beaches and a seafront promenade. Inland, residential streets spread up the slope in an irregular pattern of old lanes, newer apartment blocks and houses with gardens. Main roads run towards the centre of Gaia.
A Canidelo map poster suits people who know this corner of Greater Porto well: those who walk the promenade, surf the beaches or watch the sunset over the river mouth. The composition brings together the curve of the sandspit, the straight Atlantic shore and the finely grained residential streets behind them.

Zakaj Canidelo
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Canidelo is where the Douro reaches the sea, a place people return to for walks, swims and evening light. A map poster keeps that meeting of river and ocean on the wall, and it works for residents as well as for visitors to Porto.
Add a title, subtitle and coordinates line of your choosing, perhaps the name of a beach or a date. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint suits the waterside setting especially well. Printed posters ship from partners in more than 30 countries.
