Main street spine
The older commercial core follows the principal roads through town. It forms a dense linear strip, and the rest of the street network branches off from it.

Caotun Map Poster & Print
Caotun sits in the northwest of Nantou County in central Taiwan, on a broad plain crossed by the Wu River system and backed by the first foothills of the island's interior. Its maps show a main street spine lined with shops and older blocks. Around it lies a patchwork of small fields, farm roads and village clusters.
The township is closely associated with craft. The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute is based here, and the area has a long connection with bamboo work and other traditional materials. On the map, though, Caotun reads mostly as a working town set among farmland, with its denser streets gathered along the main roads.
A Caotun map poster keeps the balance between town and countryside. Straight roads and a highway corridor cross the plain, and irrigation lines and field edges add fine geometry. Along one side of the frame the land begins to fold into hills. The result feels ordered and calm, much like the landscape itself.

Field patchwork
Small, regularly divided plots and farm lanes surround the built-up area. In monochrome they turn the outskirts into a finely drawn pattern that looks almost like woven material.
River and foothills
Waterways of the Wu River basin cross the plain. To the east the ground begins to rise, and the roads there curve as they follow the slopes.

Zakaj Caotun
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Caotun is home to families who have farmed and practised crafts here for generations, and to people who commute toward Taichung. A map of the township captures the everyday geography that connects them: the main road, the fields and the lanes that lead to relatives' houses.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, then choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The $9 digital download includes 300 DPI PNG and print-ready PDF files in six sizes, without a watermark.
