Mountain street pattern
Near the centre the streets hold something close to a grid. Farther out they give way to the terrain, bending around slopes and following the lines of least resistance through the hills.

Capacho Nuevo Map Poster & Print
Capacho Nuevo lies in the Andean highlands of Táchira state in western Venezuela, not far from San Cristóbal and the Colombian border. Its streets cannot spread across flat ground the way lowland towns do. They climb, turn and settle into the folds of the terrain, so the map shows a compact centre with branches running out along ridges and valley floors.
The name, meaning New Capacho, points to its paired settlement, Capacho Viejo, which lies close by. This is a region of mountain agriculture and small towns linked by winding roads. Those connecting routes shape the edges of the map as much as the town's own blocks do.
A Capacho Nuevo map poster captures this highland pattern. There is a tighter core around the central streets, and outside it the lines loosen as the ground rises and falls. In monochrome the curves of the approach roads stand out clearly against the denser grid. The result is a portrait of a town that has adjusted itself to the mountains.

Winding approach roads
The roads linking Capacho Nuevo to its neighbours curve through the Andean landscape. On the poster they trace long, looping lines that carry the eye out toward the edges of the frame.
Twin-town context
Capacho Nuevo and Capacho Viejo form a pair, and a wider framing can take in the relationship between them and the roads that connect the two settlements.
