Highway corridor
BR-040, the road between Belo Horizonte and Rio de Janeiro, runs past the town as a strong continuous line that anchors the composition and gives the map a clear axis.

Carandaí Map Poster & Print
Carandaí lies in the Campo das Vertentes region of Minas Gerais, a landscape of rounded hills, small valleys and farmland between Barbacena and Conselheiro Lafaiete. The town does not follow a strict grid. Its streets adapt to the terrain, curving along slopes and dropping into low ground, so from above the plan looks organic and layered, with denser blocks at the centre and looser patterns toward the edges.
The BR-040 highway, which links Belo Horizonte with Rio de Janeiro, passes close to the town and appears on the map as a long, confident line cutting across the more irregular local street pattern. The surrounding countryside is largely agricultural, and the rural roads that fan out from the town trace the shape of that farming hinterland across the hills.
A Carandaí map poster is a quiet, detailed piece: winding streets, a compact core and the long highway line giving the composition direction. Digital HD files cost $9 and include six print sizes, each as a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF. Printed posters on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame, ship from print partners in more than 30 countries.

Terrain-led streets
Streets bend with the hills rather than following a grid, so the town centre appears as a compact, irregular cluster with lanes curving away along the slopes.
Rural road network
Beyond the built-up area, thin country roads fan out across the hills toward farms and neighbouring communities, filling larger poster formats with fine detail.

Zakaj Carandaí
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Many people from Carandaí live elsewhere in Minas Gerais or in the big cities of the southeast, and a map of the home town is a simple way to keep it close. The winding street pattern rewards a closer look, which makes it work well in a hallway or study.
You can change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a family name, a wedding date or a move. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand, and try the free watermarked preview first to see how the hills and streets read.
