Historic core
The oldest streets form a small, knotted cluster with short lanes and uneven blocks, clearly different from the straighter streets laid out in later decades.

Cardedeu Map Poster & Print
Cardedeu lies in the Vallès Oriental, northeast of Barcelona, on the gentle plain between the coastal range and the Montseny massif. From above, the older centre is a small cluster of irregular streets. Newer neighbourhoods have grown outward from it in looser, more regular blocks, and fields and wooded patches hold the edges before the next town begins.
The railway between Barcelona and Girona runs through the town, which helped Cardedeu grow as a place to live within reach of the city. On the map the line is a firm stroke that divides the town into two unequal halves. The streets on either side bend to meet the few crossings, which gives the plan a distinctive pinch in the middle.
A Cardedeu map poster suits anyone who values a place at a human scale. The pattern is easy to read: a historic heart, a rail line, residential rings and open land beyond. Rendered in fine black lines, it has the calm, balanced quality of a well-drawn plan, with enough irregularity to feel lived in rather than designed.

Rail line
The Barcelona to Girona railway crosses the town as a single decisive line, and the street network gathers around the points where it can be crossed.
Vallès edges
Farmland and wooded plots surround the built-up area, so the town ends in soft, uneven margins instead of merging into a continuous suburb.
