Carmagnola Map Poster & Print
Carmagnola lies on the plain south of Turin, a short distance from the Po. The land here is almost entirely flat. On a map the town appears as a dense, rounded core, with newer neighbourhoods and industrial areas spreading outward along the main roads, all set within a wide, carefully divided agricultural landscape.
The town is known across Italy for its peppers, the peperone di Carmagnola, celebrated each year at a large fair, and it once had a significant hemp and rope-making trade. Its name also travelled far: the Carmagnole, a song and dance of the French Revolution, is widely thought to take its name from the town.
The historic centre keeps a compact, walkable plan that contrasts with the long straight roads and field boundaries of the surrounding countryside. A Carmagnola map poster brings out that geometry, with farm tracks and field edges drawing fine, near-parallel lines around the town.

Field geometry
Around the town, the flat plain is divided into regular parcels, and their boundaries and tracks create a fine, orderly pattern across the outer parts of the print.
Roads across the plain
Main roads radiate from Carmagnola toward Turin and neighbouring towns. They run long and straight across the level land, giving the composition a clear framework.
