Centereach Map Poster & Print
Centereach is a hamlet in the Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County, in the middle of Long Island. As its name suggests, it sits in the centre of the island, away from both shores, on the flat outwash plain that runs between the North Shore hills and the South Shore bays.
The map is organised around Middle Country Road, a long east–west commercial corridor lined with shopping centres and car parks. Residential streets extend north and south in blocks of gently curving lanes and cul-de-sacs, a pattern typical of post-war suburban development on Long Island. Schools, parks and ball fields form the larger open spaces.
A Centereach map poster turns ordinary suburban texture into a clear drawing. One strong horizontal road crosses a fine, even mesh of residential streets. The result is balanced and understated, well suited to people who know these streets from the inside.

Residential mesh
North and south of the main road, residential streets form a dense pattern of short blocks, loops and cul-de-sacs that fills most of the frame.
Mid-island setting
Centereach lies inland, roughly halfway between Long Island's north and south shores, so its map is all streets and no coastline, defined by the land alone.

Zakaj Centereach
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
Centereach is the kind of place people remember by street names: the block they grew up on, the school, the route to the shopping centre. A map poster makes those everyday routes into something worth framing, and it makes a thoughtful housewarming or graduation gift.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose from five styles, from Classic black & white to Blueprint. The $9 HD files include US sizes of 18×24″ and 24×36″, and printed posters with an optional wooden frame are also available.
