Hasdeo River
The Hasdeo flows past the town, its broad, curving channel forming the most natural line on the map. It gives the poster a gentle counterweight to the straight railway.

Chāmpa Map Poster & Print
Chāmpa is a town in the Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh, set on the plains of central India beside the Hasdeo River. It is a station on the main railway line between Howrah and Mumbai, and the rail corridor cuts decisively through the map, separating districts and gathering roads towards its crossings.
The town is known for kosa, the tussar silk woven by local families, and weaving has long been part of daily life here. From above, the older neighbourhoods appear as dense, irregular clusters of lanes, while newer roads extend more straightly into the surrounding farmland of the plain.
A Chāmpa map poster brings together three distinct lines: the curving Hasdeo, the straight railway and the fine mesh of town streets. Around them, open agricultural land leaves space in the composition. The result is a clear, readable portrait of a small town shaped by river, rail and craft.

Main-line railway
The Howrah–Mumbai railway crosses Chāmpa in a long straight line with station yards alongside. It divides the town and serves as a strong horizontal or diagonal accent in the print.
Dense older lanes
The older quarters, where many weaving households live, form tight, irregular clusters of narrow lanes. In black and white they create a rich texture at the centre of the poster.
