Han River channels
Branches of the Han River cross the area on their way to the sea. They divide the town into sections joined by bridges and give the map its broadest lines.

Chenghua Map Poster & Print
Chenghua forms the urban centre of Chenghai District, in the northern part of Shantou in eastern Guangdong. The land here is the low, flat delta of the Han River. From above, the town is threaded with branching waterways. Some are broad river channels, and others are narrow canals that follow old field edges and run between built-up blocks.
Chenghai is widely known in China as a centre of toy manufacturing, and the town's pattern reflects that. Compact residential streets and older lanes sit near the centre, with larger workshop and factory plots across the surrounding districts. The town belongs to the Chaoshan region, whose own language, cuisine and tea culture give this corner of Guangdong a distinct identity.
A Chenghua map poster captures the particular texture of a delta town, where water shapes almost every boundary. In monochrome the channels read as clean ribbons cutting through the finer mesh of streets. The result feels closer to a drawing than to a road map, and it is recognisable to anyone who knows the area.

Canal network
Smaller canals run in straight and gently curving lines. They are a legacy of the delta's farmland that the town has since grown around.
Dense town centre
Near the core the streets tighten into small blocks and narrow lanes, in contrast with the larger industrial plots further out.

Zakaj Chenghua
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For Chaoshan families, many of whom have relatives across Southeast Asia and beyond, a map of the home town carries real meaning. It shows the lanes and waterways people remember long after moving away, in a form that sits easily in a modern interior.
The poster's title, subtitle and coordinates can be changed, so the town can appear under the name you use or with a family note. Choose one of five styles and download the files right away, or order a printed poster on matte paper, with a wooden frame if you want one.
