Chetwayi Map Poster & Print
Chetwayi lies on the coast of Thrissur district in Kerala, on the narrow band of land between the Arabian Sea and the backwaters behind it. From above, the shape is long and thin, with the straight edge of the beach on one side, a strip of settlement in the middle and the irregular lines of lagoons and channels on the other.
Settlement here is spread out rather than concentrated. Houses sit among coconut groves along lanes that run parallel to the shore, and a main road runs up the spine of the strip. The water to either side leaves little room for anything else.
A Chetwayi map poster captures that coastal geometry, with the sea's clean line, the waterways' soft shapes and a fine web of lanes between them. It is an elegant, horizontal composition that is unmistakably Keralan.

Backwater side
Inland lagoons and channels create irregular, flowing shapes on the eastern side, in contrast with the directness of the coast.
Coastal spine
A main road runs along the strip and links scattered homes and small centres, with lanes branching toward sea and water.

Zakaj Chetwayi
Zemljevid, ki nekaj pomeni
For people from Chetwayi, especially those working far from Kerala, a map of this strip of land between sea and backwater is a meaningful piece of home to keep in view.
Personalise the title, the subtitle and the coordinates, perhaps with a family house name. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint shows the water beautifully.
