Housing estates
Planned residential developments appear as self-contained blocks with curving or rectangular internal streets, clearly distinct from the older lanes around them.

Cileungsir Map Poster & Print
Cileungsir lies in West Java, in the belt of towns east of Bogor and southeast of Jakarta that has absorbed much of the capital region's growth. On the map it looks like a patchwork. A few main roads carry traffic between neighbouring towns, and around them sit older village lanes, planned housing estates with their own neat internal grids, and larger industrial plots.
Change has come quickly here, and the map shows it. Some areas are tightly built and others are still open, with rivers and streams winding through in narrow green corridors. The town has no single centre. Instead it has several clusters, each shaped by the road or estate it grew around.
A Cileungsir map poster is a portrait of the contemporary Indonesian urban fringe. It is less monumental than a print of a capital city but honest and graphically interesting. The looping cul-de-sacs of the estates, the irregular kampung lanes and the straight trunk roads give the composition a varied, almost collage-like quality.

Main road corridors
A few main roads carry most of the traffic through town, and the densest clusters of buildings line up along them, forming the spine of the map.
Stream corridors
Small rivers and streams wind through the area, often bordered by green strips or fields, adding soft curving lines between the built-up zones.
